Tropical House

This is an area where we keep birds ion a near natural habitat and is once again an area that needs plenty of attention. The house is heated to attend to more delicate plants and birds. If you walk straight through, you are unlikely to see anything. You have to treat it like a copse where you can sit still and you will see activity from many birds at all levels, and of course use your ears to hear their different sounds. There are 10 species on view at present, though that will be increased in the near future.
